Research on Microplastics in two areas: the emission factors and assessment of environmental hazards:

1. LRI-ECO60 - Emission factors for microplastics to support environmental exposure modeling

Funding: 300.000 Euro for 2 years

2. LRI-ECO61 - Develop holistic approach to assess environmental hazards of microplastics to the terrestrial environment

Funding: 400.000 Euro for 3 years
