Jerome Lejeune Foundation: Down syndrome Research

Supports fundamental, translational and clinical research projects that will strengthen the understanding, deepen the knowledge and/or will explore new therapeutic approaches for Down syndrome and other genetic diseases with intellectual disability. Two types of research projects:

Pilot or exploratory grants dedicated to initial early stage experiments built on preliminary data, or to ancillary projects to primary larger projects. Funding: up to €20,000/year for up to 2 years.

Advanced grants dedicated to larger breakthrough projects with preliminary data. Funding: up to €40,000 /year for up to 2 years.
