Aim: the $3 million prize honors top scientists, in: Physics (one prize for profound contributions to human knowledge), Life Sciences (up to 4 prizes for transformative advances in understanding living systems and extending human life), Mathematics (one prize, for outstanding contributions to the field of mathematics).
