International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation (ITOPF): ITOPF R&D Award (LOI)

Aim: to support projects with the potential to improve knowledge and understanding of issues related to accidental marine pollution from ships and lead to improvements in preparation and response for accidental marine pollution, including the development of new techniques for monitoring, clean-up and restoration of environmental resources.

For the 2021 application round, special consideration will be given to projects addressing:

• Low sulphur fuel oils/emerging fuels
• HNS spills
• Plastic pollution derived from spills
• Mariculture/fisheries
• Remote sensing (imagery and sampling/analysis)

Funding: up to £ 60,000.
