Independent Investigator Award Program in psychiatry

A two-year award up to $50K/year is provided to scientists at the assoc. professor level or equivalent, who are clearly independent and have won national competitive support as PI. Basic and/or clinical investigators are supported, in schizophrenia, major affective disorders, or other serious mental illnesses.The program is intended to facilitate innovative research opportunities.
