Eni Awards- Innovations in Energy and the Environment

With the aim to encourage a better use of conventional energy sources, to promote the gradual decarbonization of the energy system through the use of renewable sources, as well as to encourage research on environmental protection and to help new generations of researchers to emerge, each year Eni will give:

1. a) One Energy Frontiers Prize;
2. b) One Advanced Environmental Solutions Prize;
3. c) One Energy Transition Prize;
4. d) Two Young Researcher of the Year Prizes;
5. e) Four Debut in Research: Young Talents from Africa Prizes;
6. f) Three Recognition at Innovation Eni Prizes.

The awards are:

• Energy Frontiers, Advanced Environmental Solutions and Energy Transition categories: Specially struck gold medal of the Italian State Mint and an indivisible sum of €200,000.
• Young Researcher of the Year: Specially struck gold medal of the Italian State Mint and the sum of €25,000.
