Jerome Lejeune Foundation: Down syndrome Research

Aim: deciphering the pathophysiology of the cognitive deficits of patients, especially those with Down syndromeand other rare anomalies such as fragile X, cri du chat, Rett, Williams-Beuren, Prader-Willi, Angelman, excluding autism.
Two types of research projects:
Advanced grants dedicated to larger breakthrough projects with preliminary data. The Funding: up to €40K / yr for up to 2 yrs.
Pilot or exploratory grants dedicated to initial early stage experiments built on preliminary data, or to ancillary projects to primary larger projects. Funding: up to €20K / yr for up to 2 yrs.
