Intel: Transformative Server Architectures

Intel's University Research & Collaboration Office (URC) request proposals for academic research on “Transformative Server Architectures”.  The program is addressing the following Research Vectors (described in detail in the link below):

1: Datacenter CPU Core Architectures and Microarchitectures

2: Terabyte-scale Memory Hierarchies

3: CPU-centric Accelerator Ecosystem

4: Applications and Workloads

It is recommended the collaborative proposal should include at least 2 PIs and collaboration across universities is strongly encouraged.

Funding: approximately $400K per year for 3 years.

** The program implements an open IP policy which implies that all provided information and results cannot be IP protected.
