ARVO Foundation/Roche: Collaborative Research Fellowship in ophthalmic medicine

* Mallinckrodt Uveitis Research Fellowship:  Research on Uveitis or other eye inflammatory condition, including understanding the role and interplay of infections and intraocular inflammation. For researchers under 45. Funding: $45,000 for one year. No overhead, requires ARVO membership.

* Epstein Award in Glaucoma: Supports research in glaucoma operated by clinician-scientists focused on finding the causes and new treatments for the disease.  Funding: $100,000 for 1-2 years.

* Pfizer Ophthalmics Carl Camras Translational Research: Supports young researchers in areas of translational eye and vision research with relatively immediate practicality for clinical care. Funding: $12,000 for 1 year.

* Collaborative Research Fellowship in ophthalmic medicine:  For scientific collaboration between researchers from developing countries with established scientists to strengthen ophthalmic research capacities. Funding: $10,000 for one year. Requires ARVO membership.

* The Bert M. Glaser, MD Award for Innovative Research in Retina: Supports an early-career investigator in research of retinal disease or condition. Funding: $10,000 for one year. Requires ARVO membership.

* Point of View Award: recognizes an outstanding scholarly article published in a high-impact peer-reviewed journal during the previous calendar year related to efforts to restore vision through regenerative ophthalmology, biotechnology, whole eye transplantation or other approaches to the stated problem. $20,000 cash. Requires ARVO membership

* The Lewis Rudin Glaucoma Prize: To encourage research in glaucoma, the foundation provides a prize of $30,000 for an article on glaucoma published in a peer-reviewed journal during the previous calendar year. Requires ARVO membership
