Small Grants - up to $40,000 - Applications will be accepted by 11.2, 29.4 and 8.7. 
The following subjects may be funded:

• Education and Social Opportunity;
• Organizational Learning;
• Teaching, Learning, and Instructional Resources;
• Purposes and Values of Education ;
• Field-Initiated Proposals (Any other subject relevant to the Foundation goals);
• Initiative on Civic Learning and Civic Action;
• Initiative on Data Use and Educational Improvement

* Major Grants - up to $500,000 - Preliminary applications are accepted at any time
