תיאור כללי:

The new EFSD/JDRF Young Investigator Awards supported by an unrestricted grant from Roche have been established to promote increased European research in innovative therapy for type 1 diabetes, and to support young scientists within Europe during their transition towards independence.
Applications are invited proposing a research project in the general field of innovative therapy of type 1 diabetes.  Projects focusing on (i) cell-based therapy or regenerative medicine, (ii) immunotherapy or (iii) gene therapy approaches for type 1 diabetes are of particular interest.

תקציב: Young Investigator Awards will each be in the amount of Euro 50,000 per annum for a total of Euro 100,000, payable over 2 years.
