Wellcome trust: Collaborative Awards in Science (Preliminary)

Collaborative Awards promote the development of new ideas and speed the pace of discovery. We fund teams of researchers, consisting of independent research groups, to work together on the most important scientific problems that can only be solved through collaborative efforts. This often involves collaborations across organisations, national borders, interdisciplinary science and partners outside of academia.

PI must be based at a UK Institution. Teams can come from the same discipline or from a combination of disciplines. Members can be from the same university department or a number of organizations (anywhere in the world). Up to 6 team members may participate in one application.

Funding: up to £4,000,000 for up to 5 years
