The EFSD Research Programme in Diabetes and Cancer has been established in order to stimulate and accelerate European research aimed at investigating why diabetes is associated with increased morbidity and mortality in certain forms of cancer. The role of diabetes therapy including molecular mechanisms is also of interest. |

| תקציב: | €100K for basic research projects and €400K for clinical research projects. A total of €3 million will be made available over the years 2010-12 for research in the framework of the Program. |
