Supports reserach in neuromuscular disorders that will Increase the understanding of the neuromuscular system and the development of therapies for neuromuscular diseases and rare genetic diseases. Focus on 1. Physiopathology of Diseases of the Neuromuscular System: molecular, cellular, physiological and pathological mechanisms involving the structure and function of the skeletal muscles, motor neurons, neuromuscular junctions, aging and degeneration. 2. Rare Genetic Diseases: Gene and/or cell therapy, gene transfer and gene correction, genome editing, genetically modified cells, delivery strategies, immune response, gene expression. Funding: €40,000-€200,000 for 1-3 years.
