European Joint Programme on Rare Diseases (EJP RD): Social Sciences and Humanities Research to Improve Health Care Implementation and Everyday Life of People Living with a Rare Disease (Pre- proposals)

The aim of this call is to support multinational, innovative, and multidisciplinary humanities and social sciences research projects to improve healthcare implementation and everyday life of people living with a rare disease.

MOH will fund Israeli researchers who will submit applications in the following fields:

• Economic impact of rare diseases
• Studies addressing the impact/burden of the delay in diagnosis and of the lack of therapeutic intervention
• Development and enhancement of health outcomes research methods in rare diseases

Each consortium submitting a proposal must involve 3-6 eligible principal investigator partners (referred to as partners below) from at least three different participating countries.

Funding: €100,000 total for the Israeli partner (up to 2 projects will be fund)

Duration: 3 years
