Wisconsin / Israel Joint Industrial R&D projects

The Department of Commerce of the State of Wisconsin (Commerce) and the Israeli Industry Center for R&D MATIMOP are announcing a new call for proposals.

The call welcomes applications in all technological areas that develop new products, processes or services based on new innovative technologies and must present significant commercial opportunity in the global market.

Eligibilities:
At least 1 Israeli industrial company +1 Wisconsin Industrial company.
Universities and non-university research establishments in the two countries are invited to participate in the collaborative projects as subcontractors.

Funding:
Projects will be financed by the Respective Authority in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and procedures:
In Israel, every selected Project can be financed by the Office of the Chief Scientist of MOITAL up to 50% (plus regional incentives for Partners located in a "development zone") of the eligible costs of the Project. When the Project is successful and produces profits, the financial support of the Israeli party must be repaid, without interest, by means of royalties or profits deriving from the sales. No repayment is due before the Project reaches the stage of commercialization or if it does not reach that stage.
