NSF-BSF-NIH Computational Neuroscience (CRCNS)

Applications must involve a computational aspect but can also involve empirical work. The competition is open to neuroscientists and other scientists who are not classical computational neuroscientists. Research projects must be grounded in Biology.

May also involve collaborators from Germany, France, Japan, Spain. Total budget for the whole project may not exceed $250K/yr. Please note “data sharing” requirements.

Please also read carefully the NSF solicitation document in order to understand the nature of the program. Funding: for the Israeli partner- up to $80K/yr for experimental studies and $55K/yr for theoretical and computer based studies. The U.S. partner should contact the appropriate NSF program manager to discuss the research focus of the international project.
