European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes (EFSD) and Lilly EXPLORING AND APPLYING NEW STRATEGIES IN DIABETES (EXPAND) Programme

Supports research dedicated for development of strategies that could be implemented in Europe and rolled out in low-and middle income countries, within any area of clinical diabetes research with emphasis on: •Prevention of diabetes, including lifestyle and educational interventions •Diagnosis/management of all forms of diabetes mellitus •Diagnosis/prevention of diabetes-related microvascular complications •Diagnosis/prevention of diabetes-related macrovascular complications. Funding: 150,000€ for 1 year. Can be more funded if justified.
