U.S. DOD/CDMRP: Melanoma Research Program –Pre-Application

Proposals must address one of 2020 focus areas.

*Idea Award – Supports new ideas that represent innovative, high risk, high-gain approaches. Funding: $300K over 3 years.

*Mid-Career Accelerator Award: >7 years post first appointment. $700K over 3 years.

*Team Science Award - Supports partnerships between two or three independent investigators. Inclusion of at least one military or U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) investigator is encouraged. Funding: $700K over 3 years.

*Technology Development Partnership Award - Supports partnerships between two investigators focusing on bioengineering approaches to address diagnostics, high-risk markers, dormancy, and metastasis. Funding: $700K over 3 years.

* Translational Research Award (+Collaborator option) - Supports studies aiming to leverage existing biobanks, biorepositories, ongoing or completed clinical trials to address a translational question or problem in melanoma. Funding: $600K ($700K for 2 investigators) over 3 years.
