Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) AND MOST: Gesher Award for academic Excellence in the field of Cancer Research

Aim: to fund outstanding cancer scientists who wish to return to Israel to develop an independent research program.  These grants will support a specific project conducted by a returning postdoctoral scientist who will have a position that enables him/her to establish an independent research program.  Candidates must have no more than seven (7) years of postdoctoral experience prior to the award commencement date.  Applications must be submitted while the applicant is conducting research outside of Israel.

Funding: ICRF research support is limited to three (3) years at a maximum stipend of NIS 100,000 per year.  MOST will also provide NIS 100,000 per year for 3 years as a stipend for the grant recipient's living expenses.
