This is a preliminary announcement. The call is scheduled to open in January 2020.

Supports research proposals that challenge the current thinking and/or traditional approaches used to investigate the underlying mechanisms of the Multiple Sclorosis (MS) disease. The goal of this funding is to uncover new mechanisms driving progressive MS that may be used to identify therapeutic targets that will ultimately slow or stop disability progression. High-risk proposals that could result in a paradigm shift are welcome. Proposals comprised of multidisciplenary collaborations will be prioritised.

Funding: €75,000 for 1 year. It is anticipated that 15 grants may be awarded.
