Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF): Sinergia Grants– interdisciplinary, collaborative and breakthrough

Promotes the interdisciplinary collaboration of two to four research groups that propose breakthrough research, in any field of science.

PI must be from a Swiss institution, but for 3 or 4 partners one may be located outside Switzerland if one can show that the expertise is required.

Funding: 3,200,000 CHF total for 1-4 years
