EFSD / Novo Nordisk Foundation - Future Leaders Award Programme in Diabetes - for young investigators

Intended to identify young outstanding clinical and basic scientists in diabetes research, support them in their transition to a tenured academic appointment and foster their development into the leaders of tomorrow in the field.
Applications can be made by investigators that received their highest academic degree (PhD, MD) not more than 10 years before the start of the award but not yet holding a tenured academic Faculty appointment.

Applicants must be paid-up EASD members.

Funding: ~€130,000/yr. for five years.
