Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation: Research Grants – Pre-proposals

Multiple opportunities:

Therapeutic Pipeline Program: Seeks to speed the development of Parkinson’s disease therapeutics with potential for fundamentally altering disease course, significantly improving treatment or management of symptoms beyond current standards of care. Proposals should focus on strategies with clear impact for people with PD and well-defined development plans, which can include traditional pharmacological treatments, biological therapies, gene therapy, surgical, non-invasive/non-pharmaceutical or applied technology approaches.

Funding:
Pre-clinical Program - $500,000 up to 2 years
Clinical Program - $2,000,000 up to 3 years

Use of Parkinson ’s disease Bio-samples: Facilitates access and use of Parkinson cohort bio-samples. Applicants can request these human bio-samples and associated grant funding for target validation or biomarker development programs.

Funding: up to $300,000 for 1-2 years accompanying a bio-sample request
