Alpha-1 Foundation: In Cycle Research grants– LOI

Funds various types of awards:

Pilot and Feasibility Grant ($75,000 for 1 year) to encourage development of new hypothesis or new methods;

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Grant ($75,000/year for 2 years) support for postdoctoral research fellows who are starting their research careers and working in laboratories of established researchers or conducting research with the mentorship of established researchers;

Research Grant ($100,000/year for 2 years) for projects that contribute to basic understanding of the biology of AAT;

Scientific Meeting Sponsorship Grant ($5,000) supports scientific meetings/workshops/conferences;

Travel Grant ($1,000) travel to attend cross training or travel to attend conference/meeting.
