Supports rigorous social scientific research as a means of diagnosing social problems and improving social policies. The awards are restricted to support for social science research within the following program areas:
* Social, Political and Economic Inequality
* Race, Ethnicity and Immigration
* Immigration & Immigrant Integration
* Behavioural Economics
* Decision Making and Human Behaviour in Context

Research must have clear focus and relevance to the USA.

Funding: $175,000 for 2 years
