U.K. MOD - Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) – The invisible battlespace – Effective use of the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum

Four challenges: (1) Improve sensing, managing, visualizing and utilizing the EM spectrum (in real-time). (2) Conduct effective electronic warfare operations within an environment of multiple signals, jammers and radio systems, (3) Overcome attempts by target to avoid detection (4) Novel delivery mechanisms which are capable of supporting effects at long range and long endurance. Primary focus is within the radio and microwave bands. Concepts and ideas that look to utilize unconventional parts of the EM spectrum are encouraged. Funding: up to £330K over 1 year.
