The Brain Tumor Charity: Funding opportunities

Funding: up to £300,000 for up to three years.

Expanding Theories awards:
The goal of this award is to develop novel concepts that may eventually lead to significant improvements in clinical outcome, including quality of life, for patients with brain tumours.

Funding: up to £60,000 per year for up to 2 years.

Clinical Biomarkers:
This scheme supports the identification, validation, and implementation of clinical biomarkers that bring us closer to an early and accurate diagnosis, and/or inform the management of brain tumours. In order to encourage collaboration between the laboratory and the clinic these grants will be awarded jointly to a Scientific lead and a Clinical lead researcher.

Funding: £100,000 per year for up to five years.

Conferences and Workshops
Seeking applications for researcher-led scientific conferences and workshops that will facilitate: Collaboration between members of the research community; discussion between interdisciplinary researchers or healthcare workers; new partnerships between research and industry; the identification of key barriers which need to be overcome if we are to progress research in this field and a focus on improving quality of life.

Funding: up to £5,000 per event
