** Science & the Big Questions:
- Natural Sciences: Supports projects that address questions concerning the origin and nature of the universe and humankind’s place in it. Proposals related to the following priorities: Intellectual Humility, Mathematics & Physical Sciences, Science of Purpose, and Cultural Evolution, especially high risk projects that promise substantial rewards are encouraged, as are projects unlikely to be supported by standard funding agencies.

- Human Sciences: Aims to catalyze discovery about human nature, human flourishing, religion and spirituality, and other fundamental structures and realities within the social, behavioral, and cognitive sciences .Supports basic and applied scientific research projects, especially those that seek to increase enthusiasm for neglected topics within the academy.

- Philosophy & Theology: Supports research that engages deeply with the sciences, including interdisciplinary collaborations in which philosophical or theological understanding informs and is informed by the findings and methods of the sciences.

- Public Engagement: Supports creative, dynamic efforts to share the results of research with a variety of audiences who may be interested in this work

** Individual Freedom & Free Markets: supports education, research, and grassroots efforts to promote individual freedom, free markets, free competition, and entrepreneurship.

** Exceptional Cognitive Talent and Genius: supports programs that aim to recognize and nurture exceptional cognitive talent, especially at an early stage of life, as well as research concerning the nature of cognitive genius, including extraordinary creativity, curiosity, and imagination.

** Genetics: supports basic and translational research together with educational programs that increase public awareness concerning the ways in which genetics-related research and its applications can advance human flourishing at the individual, familial, and societal levels.

** Voluntary family planning: supports research, programs, and policy development efforts around the world that seek to better understand factors that influence family planning decisions, provide information on and access to family planning methods, and strengthen policy related to effective family planning.

** Character Virtue Development

Funding: small grants up to $234,800 for up to 3 years; large grants for more than $234,800 for up to 3 years.
