U.K. AHRC-DFID Collaborative Humanitarian Protection in Areas of Conflict Research Programme

Aim: multi-disciplinary research to better understand the causes of humanitarian protection risks/violations and to gather evidence about effective interventions, addressing at least one of 6 themes: Impact of violations of international humanitarian law, Impact of protection programming, Impact of restraint, Impact of local protection mechanisms, Impact of recognition on protection and Impact of targeting. Collaboration with non-academic practitioner organisations a must. Consortia must also involve partners based in developing countries. Funding: £480K for up to 2 years.
