U.K. MOD - Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) – Open call for innovation

Proposals accepted and assessed in 5 cycles until deadline

Aim: innovative ideas to improve the defence and/or security of the UK (could be a concept, technology or service, at various levels of maturity). Particularly welcome are proposals focused on these areas: airport passenger and cargo screening, technology to assist rail staff in threat detection, Training and education efficiency and effectiveness, Modelling and simulation representation of the future operating environment.

*Emerging Innovations track: Defence proposals -£30K - £90K for 3-9 months; Security proposals – not defined, but expected to be up to £150K for 3-12 months.

*Rapid Impact track: Defence- up to £250K (though lower budgets will be favored); Security (TRL 4 encouraged) – funding cap not specified but up to £150K expected.
