FP7- Activities of International Cooperation Calls

FP7  Activities of International Cooperation part of the Capacities programme aims to become more competitive and play a leading role at world level, the European Union needs a strong and coherent international science and technology policy. This international
policy has three objectives: To support European competitiveness,  To enhance the production of knowledge and scientific excellence and to address specific problems that third countries face or that have a global character, on the basis of mutual interest and mutual benefit.

Participants:
The eligible joint centres must be the result of institutional arrangements1 based on a bilateral or multilateral agreement, contract or memorandum of understanding between at least one partner of an EU Member State or Associated Country with a counterpart in a third country concerned.
