FP7- Activities of International Cooperation Calls

FP7  Activities of International Cooperation part of the Capacities programme aims to become more competitive and play a leading role at world level, the European Union needs a strong and coherent international science and technology policy. This international
policy has three objectives: To support European competitiveness,  To enhance the production of knowledge and scientific excellence and to address specific problems that third countries face or that have a global character, on the basis of mutual interest and mutual benefit.

Call Areas:
The call will target joint institutes located in the following countries: Brazil, China, India, Japan, Russia, USA

Participants:
The eligible joint institutes must be the result of institutional arrangements based on a bilateral or multilateral agreement, contract or memorandum of understanding between at least one partner – government, ministry or a research organisation – of an EU Member State or Associated Country with a counterpart in a third country concerned.

Indicative Budget: € 12 M
