Target Identification in Lupus (TIL)

Supports highly meritorious research focused on the identification and scientific and/or clinical investigation of molecular pathways and therapeutic targets that will lead to new therapies or improved management for patients with lupus.

Funding: up to $200,000/year total costs for up to 3 years

Novel Research Grants (NRG)

Provides early stage support for highly innovative approaches to major challenges in lupus research. Special emphasis is placed on lupus studies exploring fundamental mechanisms, novel targets and pathways, novel technologies, and interdisciplinary approaches. Early-career investigators are encouraged to apply through this mechanism.

Funding: up to $150,000/year total costs for up to 2 years.
