DeGregorio Family Foundation for Gastric and Esophageal Cancer: Research Proposals

Seeks to promote and facilitate collaborative research on the pathogenesis, early diagnosis, and treatment of upper gastrointestinal malignancies.

Grants will be awarded in support of innovative, high-quality translational and bench research that improves the understanding of the biology of these diseases, identification of potential novel therapeutic targets, and/or the development and evaluation of novel biomarkers for early diagnosis and treatment. Pre-clinical research, basic mechanistic studies, genomic/epigenomic studies, and epidemiologic studies are eligible for support.

Funding: $250,000 for 2 years. (10% overhead, tax-exempt).
