MOST and FCT: Portuguese-Israeli Research Program on Marine Sciences Joint Exploratory projects

The research should be multi-disciplinary and be applicable to the needs of the field of marine sciences in one of the following areas:

1. Operational oceanography – developing improved methods/technology such as improved maritime monitoring techniques, improved modeling forecasting, big data analyses.
2. Marine pollution – stress on the ecological systems and mitigation technologies.

Funding: €100,000 for 2 years for each side.

Up to 3 exploratory research proposals will be selected for funding.
