NSF-BSF Integrative Organismal Systems (IOS) Program

Four clusters:  - Behavioral Systems - Animal Behavior. - Developmental Systems - Plant, Fungal and Microbial Developmental Mechanisms Program, Animal Developmental Mechanisms Program, Evolution of Developmental Mechanisms Program. - Neural Systems - Organization Program, the Activation Program and the Modulation Program.  - Physiological and Structural Systems - Symbiosis, Defense and Self-recognition Program (SDS), the Physiological Mechanisms and Biomechanics Program (PMB), the Integrative Ecological Physiology Program (IEP). Funding: up to $80K/yr to Israeli partner ($55K/yr for theoretical computer based research). U.S. partner should contact the appropriate NSF program manager to discuss the research focus of the international project.
