MOST: Joint Italian- Israeli Laboratory in Space - Exploring Microgravity

Aim: experiments to be conducted in absence of gravity on remote controlled microgravity platforms. The proposals must be submitted jointly by Italian and Israeli research groups.

This call will address the fields of biological, biotechnological, chemical and physical sciences. The following is a non-exhaustive list of possible experiments:

- Kinetics of enzymatic reactions

- Kinetics and formation of emulsion droplets

- Formation of organic and inorganic crystals

- Self-assembly of polymers, peptides and DNA fragments

- Protein crystallization

- DNA origami

- Crystallization of new drug polymorph

- Bacterial virulence and antibiotic drug resistance

Funding: total of €100,000 for 2 years. This amount shall account for a maximum of 70% of the total budget of the proposed experiment.
