U.S. DOD Air Force Academy (USAFA): Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) – White papers

Aim: projects that either 1. Facilitate engagement between U.S. and foreign experts; 2. Address current and emerging challenges; or 3. Expand knowledge or develop new concepts. WMD are defined as chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear weapons. Current key topics include: Impacts of new technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, human augmentation, quantum computing, synthetic biology, additive manufacturing, autonomous systems, nanotechnology. Funding: $50K-$225K / year for 1-2 years.
