FP7-Information and Communication Technologies Future & Emerging Technologies (FET)

FP7 Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) aims  to enable Europe to master and shape the future developments of information and Communication Technologies (ICT), so that the demands of its society and economy are met. Activities will strengthen Europe's scientific and technology base in ICT, help drive and stimulate innovation through ICT use and ensure that ICT progress is rapidly transformed into benefits for Europe's citizens, businesses, industry and governments. Complementary research relating to the sustainable management and conservation of natural resources is addressed under the "Environment (including Climate Change)" theme.
