U.S. DOD/DARPA Biological Technologies Office (BTO): Advanced plant Technologies - Abstracts

Aim: using engineered plant varieties as independent biosensors to detect environmental threats, by directing plant physiology to detect chemical, biological, radiological, and/or nuclear threats, as well as electromagnetic signals. Multidisciplinary teams should include experts in diverse fields including plant physiology, gene editing, biochemistry, modelling, phenotyping, remote sensing, and plant ecology.

Duration: 4 years.
