NSF-BSF Joint Program in Integrative Organismal System Division

(BSF deadline 6.2.2018)

Joint U.S.-Israel projects in the areas below. Funding: up to $70,000 / yr for 3 years to Israeli partner. U.S. partner should contact appropriate NSF program manager to discuss the research. Israeli scientist with pending or active BSF-NSF grants are not allowed to submit (regular BSF grant is OK).

Aim: to develop functional genomic tools and infrastructure for manipulating genes in diverse organisms. EDGE-supported investigators are expected to rapidly disseminate their tools and train other researchers in their use, thereby catalyzing a broad-scale improvement in the community's capacity to test mechanistic hypotheses.
