U.S. DOD/CDMRP: Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Research Program – Pre-proposals

*Exploration - Hypothesis Development Award - Supports the initial exploration of innovative, high-risk, high gain research. Funding: up to $200K over 2 years.

*Idea Development Award -Supports ideas that have the potential to yield high-impact findings and new avenues of investigation. New investigators encouraged. Funding: $450K over 3 years.

*Pilot Clinical Trial Award - Supports exploratory studies with limited human exposure that produce information on diagnostic or therapeutic effectiveness, safety, tolerability, or mechanisms of action. Funding: $300K over 2 years.

*Postdoctoral Development Award - Supports recent (up to 3 yrs) doctoral or medical graduates to conduct impactful research with the mentorship of an experienced TSC researcher. Funding: up to 150K over 2 years.

*Synergistic Idea Development Award - Supports partnerships between two or three PIs, who should utilize their complementary perspectives to advance research. Funding: $750K over 3 years.
