MOST-JST: Japan-Israel joint research proposals on ICT for a Resilient Society

Research projects focused on technologies, computer systems, solutions, or mathematical models based on ICT that will help society become more resilient to drastic changes or damage caused by social challenges, economic downturns, or natural disasters and restore stability of urban infrastructure and public services in a timely fashion. Challenges include: economic fluctuations, traffic flows, ICT networks and grids, population behaviors, issues surrounding urban infrastructure, earthquakes, abnormal weather. Funding: NIS 800,000 over 3 years for the Israeli side. (3 projects are expected to be supported).
