DOD/DARPA: Cyber Rapid Attack Detection, Isolation and Characterization Systems

DARPA is soliciting innovative research proposals to develop technologies for detecting and recovering from cyber-attacks. Specifically: revolutionary research on early attack detection, network isolation and threat characterization in response to a widespread and persistent cyber-attack on the power grid and its dependent systems. Specific Areas: 1.Situation Awareness, 2.Network Isolation 3.Threat Analysis 4. Testbed and Sandbox Provider 5. System Evaluator and Exercise Coordinator (Note: Some security clearance restrictions apply to areas 1,3,5).
