CIP (Competitiveness and Innovation program) Eco-Innovation

CIP (Competitiveness and Innovation program) Eco-Innovation is a part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program of the EU. Through the CIP  Eco-innovation funding scheme, the EU wants to support innovative products, services, methods and technologies that can make a better use of natural resources and reduce Europe's ecological footprint. The main objective is to bridge the gap between research and the market. It supports eco-innovative projects in different sectors which aim at the prevention or reduction of environmental impacts or which contribute to the optimal use of resources. However, more specific priorities have been set up considering its important environmental impact.

Materials recycling
Sustainable building products
Food and drink sector
Greening business/Smart purchasing

Consortium:
Applications can be submitted by one or several entities allocated in EU Member States, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Albania, Croatia, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Israel, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.
