Eni Awards- Protection of the Environment, Renewable Energy and New Frontiers of Hydrocarbons

Protection of the Environment Prize: The Prize is awarded to the researcher or group of scientists that achieved internationally significant research results in the field of the correlation between human activities and natural environment, with reference to approaches for both environmental protection and recovery. The results must have been achieved within the three-year period prior to the date of this annual Official Announcement. The prize is in the sum of € 200,000.
Renewable Energy Prize: The Prize is awarded to the researcher or group of scientists that achieved internationally significant results in research and innovation, in the field of renewable energy sources. The results must have been achieved within the five-year period prior to the date of this annual Official Announcement. The prize is in the sum of € 200,000.
New Frontiers of Hydrocarbons Prize: Two recognitions are awarded to the researcher or group of scientists that achieved (or promise to achieve) internationally significant results in the development of technologies for an efficient use of hydrocarbons, related particularly to upstream (one prize) and downstream (one prize) activities. The results must have been achieved within the five-year period prior to the date of this annual Official Announcement. Each prize is in the sum of € 200,000.
