Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF): Retrievable Devices and Scaffolds for Beta Cell Replacement Therapies- LOI

JDRF is soliciting applications that include collaborations among bioengineers, chemists, immunologists, transplant researchers, and pancreatic beta cell biologists to develop and test retrievable scaffolds and devices as a key component of beta cell replacement therapy for T1D. Funding: - up to $300,000/yr. for 3 yrs; Clinical trials: up to $660,000/yr. for 3 yrs; Pilot studies up to $150,000 for 1 year. Applicants are strongly advised to consult with JDRF Programmatic Contact by September 15, 2015 to discuss the responsiveness of their proposal to this program JDRF will hold a web & teleconference August 17.
