GIF: Israeli-German Joint proposals in Exact Sciences and Humanities

GIF Regular Program supports cooperative research projects conducted jointly by German and Israeli scientists. Areas funded: Exact Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Material Sciences, Technology (Engineering), Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Geo-Earth and Environmental Sciences Humanities: History, Archaeology, Literature, Philosophy and related fields. The proposal should be designed for 3 years with a total budget of up to EUR 200,000, and shall concern basic and applied science and technology, for peaceful purposes only.
GIF Young Scientists’ Program aims to encourage young scientists without research partner in the other country, and help them establish first contacts with potential counterparts in Israel or Germany. Eligibility: within 7 years after completing their Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree (at the starting date of the Grant -1.1.2017). Funding: up to EUR 40,000 for one year.
