Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics, Mathematics and Life Sciences

Aim: to recognize the world’s top scientists in each of the 3 fields, granting each a $3 million award; as well as recognizing promising junior researchers in the fields of Fundamental Physics and Mathematics, granting each a $100,000 award.
The Breakthrough Prize recognizes major achievements, with special attention to recent development.
One prize in the Life Sciences category will be earmarked for work contributing to the understanding of Parkinson’s & Neuro degenerative Disorders.
